Hudson Gavin Martin has advised the founder and co-owners of Promapp Solutions Limited, Ivan Seselj and Richard Holmes, on the successful sale to the Nintex global group.
Promapp provides a cloud based business process mapping platform which allows its partners and customers to better optimise business processes through visual mapping solutions. Nintex provides intelligent process automation which empowers employees to automate and optimise their own business processes with no-code workflow and a content automation platform. The acquisition of Promapp into the Nintex Group will mean that Nintex can offer visual collaboration and process management capabilities to help organisations better automate, orchestrate and optimise all business processes.
Edwin Lim, who led the HGM team and has worked with Promapp since its inception in 2002, said “This will be one of my more memorable deals because it goes to show that there are people out there who can fly under the radar and produce world-class technology without fuss. Well done Ivan Seselj, Richard Holmes and the team at Promapp”. The HGM team, including Senior Associate, Sarah-Jane Lawson, and Senior Solicitor, Toby Cartwright worked with Gordon Ho and Laura Medina at Cooley LLP as co-counsel, and Mike Bignell, David Urlich and Patrick McElhinney at PwC. Russell McVeagh and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich Rosati acted for Nintex.
Promapp Founder Ivan Seselj adds, "The Promapp team is excited to join Nintex as our process excellence culture and passion for customer success are perfectly aligned. We see great synergies with our solutions and an opportunity to help our mutual customers achieve continuous process improvements."
