Team Ninja Thumbs, the creator of the game, Grabity, is the winner of the 2016 KiwiGameStarter award, New Zealand’s startup award for interactive games businesses. The KiwiGameStarter was launched by the New Zealand Game Developers Association in 2014 and Hudson Gavin Martin is proud to have sponsored the award since launch. Grabity uses physics simulations to create fun puzzle and gameplay environments.
Team Ninja Thumbs and other finalists submitted a playable prototype of their games and pitched to an elite industry judging panel, including Noah Falstein, Chief Game Designer at Google, at the NZ Game Developers Conference held in Auckland on 9 September.
Team Ninja Thumbs’ prize includes a legal package from Hudson Gavin Martin to the value of $4,000.
