Adidas has filed yet another law suit against competitor, Skechers. Adidas has alleged that Skechers' "Mega Flex" shoe is a rip-off of Adidas' Springblade shoe. Both styles feature the distinctive mid-sole blades, which Adidas say is protected by its registered patent.
Adidas and Skechers went head-to-head earlier this year in another infringement case. Those proceedings ended with Adidas being granted an injunction requiring Skechers to stop selling a particular style of sneaker similar to Adidas' Stan Smith shoe.
Adidas will no doubt see the "Mega flex" range as another example of Skechers' pattern of unlawful behaviour.
Skechers' has made no comment on the matter.
Adidas has filed a lawsuit against Skechers for what it calls blatant copying of its products and infringement of its valuable intellectual property.
